Who we are

At avenueNB we are passionate, collaborative, innovative and most of all inclusive. Our pursuit is to break down barriers and increase the employment rate of persons with a disability in New Brunswick.

avenueNB Cooperative is a new innovative non-profit organization incorporated in April 2022. Our role is to manage the delivery of employment services for persons with a disability in New Brunswick through third-party specialized organizations. Receiving long-term funding from the Government of New Brunswick through the Canada - New Brunswick Workforce Development Agreement, avenueNB oversees the contract management of its Member Agencies.

Our role is to ensure persons with a disability and employers have equitable access to employment services and supports. We coordinate professional development for member agencies, promote communication and outreach, develop intersectional partnerships as well as monitor and evaluate programs and services to ensure quality results and accountability.

To operate in the most effective and efficient manner to demonstrate accountability to all stakeholders - PWD, employers, funding sources.

Forming effective partnerships and relationships with all stakeholders to increase their attachment to the labour market for persons with a disability.

Staff Competence

Staff have the technical and conceptual skills required for the role they have with the agency and access disability-specific organizations when needed to provide quality of service.

Individualized Support

Providing employment support and services to meet the unique needs of persons with a disability and employers. Persons with a disability are actively engaged in determining their own needs and priorities.

Our Mission

Using a collaborative approach to connect persons with a disability to the labour market through person-centered programs, transition planning, and increased employer engagement to create positive employment pathways throughout New-Brunswick. Our goal is to provide consistent, accessible services across the province to a wide spectrum of clients with diverse needs. We provide clients with training, tools, support, and opportunities so that they may succeed within the New Brunswick labour market.
